Default The Truth About The Armenian Genocide

An estimated 1.5 million Armenian people were extinguished by the Turkish government ruling the Ottoman Empire in a centrally planned and administered slaughter known as the Armenian Genocide. Under the cloud of World War I, between 1915 and 1918, the mostly Christian Armenian population were subjected to deportation, expropriation, abduction, torture, massacre, and starvation as they were forcibly removed from Armenia and Anatolia to Syria and marched through the desert to die. Following the end of World War I, the atrocities resumed between 1920 and 1923, and the remaining Armenian population was subjected to further violence, slaughter and expulsion. In 1915, thirty-three years before UN Genocide Convention was adopted, the Armenian Genocide was condemned by the international community as a crime against humanity. Dr. Rouben Adalian is the Director of the Armenian National Institute and a specialist on the Caucasus and the Middle East. In 1993, Dr. Adalian completed a project to document the Armenian Genocide in the United States National Archives. Armenian National Institute: http://www.armenian-genocide.org

Stefan Molyneux did a very fine interview there, with Rouben Adalian. I subscribed to his youtube station, and after watching this, I'm very glad that I've done that.

Susan Kardalian's interview with Maria, a survivor of the Armenian Genocide. It's a 5 minute excerpt from Grandma's Tattoos, a 50 minute film documentary about Kardalian's deceased grandmother, and Kardalian's search for the story behind her grandmother's melancholic behavior, as well as her tattoos. Subtitles translate the interview into English.

As they say "the perpetrators that deny their own crimes are bound to repeat them again". I mean, Turks don't actually mind the murders and killings of Armenians and other Christians, it's just that the reason why most deny it is simply because it makes them look bad, that's all.

I'm pretty sure you already knew on what Alham Aleyev and his family tried to do when they "won" the eurovision contest back in the day for political reasons..whitewashing their own and their closest associaties crimes in their own country and their neighbors of Armenia.

Perhaps, I should add that a number of Turks whom boast or lie about the genocide probably are descended from an abducted Armenian grandmother or great-grandmother.

It's typical of Azerbaijan, and the country's leader, Ilham Aliyev, so it doesn't surprise me. Yea, Adalian, in the video, barely touched upon the genocide denial measures taken by Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has fanatically supported Turkey's genocide denial activities, and their geopolitical demeanor is one and the same.

I think that number of victims is exaggeration but Armenian Genocide is exist. Present-day Turkey not responsible for genocide. History is in history not national propaganda.

Here's the unabridged version of Grandma's Tattoos.
