"The Romanians continue to be pro-US, most of the respondents to a recent study by Avangarde saying that Romania should keep close relations with this country, and that the US should remain the main strategic partner of Romania."

"When asked to choose from a list a country with which Romania should have the closest relations, 37% of respondents chose the US, 25% chose Germany and 11% said France. Only 9% said China or Russia and 7% chose the UK. Meanwhile, almost three quarters of respondents (74%) said the US should remain the main strategic partner of Romania."

"When asked to choose a European country that should be Romania’s main partner, 45% said Germany, 29% chose France, 16% chose the UK, 7% said Russia and 2% said Italy."

Romania is more pro-USA than pro-Russia. If they support anyone, it'll be America. They are very pro NATO and pro EU, anti-Hungary, anti-Russia.

Poland, the Baltics, and Romania are seeking a greater American presence in Eastern Europe.

bullshit. overall people are not pro-NATO at all and towards Russia people have no pro- or anti- feelings, they just don't want Russia as an official enemy because we are close to it geographically and people fear an intervention.

except for some few hipsters in the cities and the military personnel (mercenaries) with their families, no one is pro-NATO. then, the few ultra-nationalists are anti-Russian for historical reasons.

overall Romanian media is overwhelmingly pro-NATO but they're just dishonest and don't reflect popular opinion. the commoners, the people, don't buy the militaristic shit of NATO, we don't need NATO, the enmity with Russia is fake and bought with American money so they can place some military bases on here and have access to Black Sea.
