We used to build our own stuff. We might just as do it again.

I support it too. Because we also used to build our own stuff. For example, the tramway rolling stock for Athens was built inside Greece, and it was much more demanding as the Athens Tram had about 21 lines in its apex.

Municipalitatea ieșeană continuă modernizarea transportului public cu ajutorul fondurilor europene prin Programul Operațional Regional - Axa IV „Sprijinirea dezvoltării urbane durabile” - Obiectivul specific 4.1: Reducerea emisiilor de carbon în municipiile reședință de județ prin investiții bazate pe planurile de mobilitate urbană durabilă.

Pe 27 aprilie primarul Mihai Chirica a semnat contractul de achiziție a 16 tramvaie cu lungimea de circa 30 de metri cu producătorul polonez PESA (Pojazdy Szynowe PESA Bydgoszcz Spolka Akcyjna). Valoarea contractului este de 137 de milioane de lei, fără TVA (circa 163 de milioane de lei, cu TVA, adică aproximativ 34 de milioane de euro), ceea ce înseamnă 2,125 milioane de euro pentru fiecare tramvai. Tramvaiele vor fi livrate eșalonat între 15 și 22 de luni de la data semnării. Organizatorul achiziției a fost Ministerul Dezvoltării Regionale și Administrației Publice, iar beneficiarul Municipiul Iași.

Miskolcon összesen két villamosjárat és 46 autóbuszjárat van, melyből kettő szerződéses járat a város szélein fekvő áruházakhoz. A város járműparkja buszokból és villamosokból áll. A közlekedési vállalat járműparkját az elmúlt években jelentősen korszerűsítették: 2013–14-ben 31 Škoda 26T villamos váltotta le a teljes korábbi állományt, valamint 2016-ban 40 szóló és 35 csuklós kivitelű CNG (földgáz meghajtású) autóbusz állt szolgálatba.
