I guess is it's a good thing Armenia is best prepared because my region got two infected persons (out of total 85) from that country and what if Armenia were prepared any worse?

I've been eating more baklava lately, I think the honey is good for the immune system.

Russia helps Armenia with unique equipment. Military virologists arrive in Yerevan

The Russian military brought a portable laboratory for testing on SARS-CoV-2 and disinfection systems to Armenia.

The equipment was delivered on two Il-76 Russian aircraft, which arrived in Yerevan on April 7th. In addition to equipment, Russian biosafety experts, virologists and epidemiologists arrived in Armenia.

I said to this stinking piece of shit, that about 95% of infected people in Armenia have as a source of infection those who have arrived in Armenia either from Russia, or in transit through Russia!

EU to provide 92 million euro to Armenia

The European Union will provide Armenia with a total of 92 million euros to support urgent and short-term needs against the backdrop of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The funds will be used to supply medical equipment and accessories, train medical and laboratory personnel, support SMEs and the business community, as well as provide social and humanitarian assistance to victims of the outbreak of coronavirus.

The EU response is in line with the Team Europe approach. It attracts contributions from all EU institutions and brings together resources mobilized by EU member states and financial institutions, in particular, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Working together, Team Europe can gather a critical mass that few can compare with,” the EU Delegation in Armenia said in a statement.

Coronavirus is already out of control

The spread of coronavirus, as such, has gotten out of control, Health Minister Arsen Torosyan said today at a meeting of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Health and Social Affairs.

“We cannot assume that the spread of coronavirus has stopped and is 100% canceled, because if earlier we, for example, detected 50 cases of infection from one source, for example, 50 employees of a large enterprise, now we have 16, 20, 30 cases but from 10 or 20 different sources. Therefore, the circulation of the coronavirus, as such, has gone out of control,” the minister said.

He noted that regardless of everything, the task remains the same - to find every possible case, test, confirm, isolate the circle, cure and write out after recovery.

We must continue our actions as long as we have strength, when all of us, the country runs out of strength, then we will stop some of these actions. Leave only testing and treatment, isolation will not be, because it will already become meaningless due to its very high prevalence. In this context, it is necessary to consider lifting, tightening, changing all restrictive measures, and not just numbers,” said Arsen Torosyan.

About 30 hotels provided places for several thousands isolated people.
