According to the results of a joint study by NTI, Johns Hopkins University and the Economist Intelligence Unit, Armenia is the first country among the countries of the former USSR in terms of preparedness for Coronavirus. Azerbaijan turned out to be the last in this rating and is classified as the worst country in terms of coronavirus combat readiness among post-Soviet countries. Recall, from March 2, educational institutions of Armenia were quarantined due to the detection of the first case of coronavirus in the country. About the current situation in relation to the disease of coronavirus in Armenia

Only one from all the laboratory tests for the detection of coronavirus conducted in Armenia was positive so far, Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan stated at a meeting of the interagency commission coordinating efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

3 new cases of coronavirus recorded in Armenia

Today, March 11, in Armenia 3 new cases of infection with the coronavirus COVID-19 were detected, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced this on his Facebook page.

Two of the cases are Armenian citizens (45 and 27 years old), one is an Italian citizen (51 years old). All three came from Italy.
