If it wasn't byzantium you would be probably an albanian if i take serious your Epirotic ancestry...most people there are souliotes and hellenized/christianicized albanians.You should thank byzantium and orthodox church that you are not an albovlach..

The Souliotes were a confederacy of Ethnic Greeks and others. They were not a Christian Albanian Tribe. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Souliotes/Souli have albanian toponym and they spoken an albanian dialect like arvanites did.Whats the big duel with being albanian?Souliotes remained in Epirus/South albania(aka north epirus) while arvanites settled in attica,peloponnesus,and central greece.You own them so much..

They do not have an Albanian toponym. Pre-1803 and the defeat of the Souliotes, they spoke Greek. Arvanitika was spoken out of necessity after the Greek Revolution. Southern Greece was free while Epirus was under Ottoman Rule and Arvanitika was the Lingua Franca from 1830's - 1913.

The big deal is the Souliotes were not ALBANIAN nor was ALBANIAN ever their language.

Souli is not a greek word my friend.It has albanian origins and it means "mountain summit".People from modern Epirus sharing the same genes with south albanians pretty much and when it comes on Ydna most of them are EV13,J2b,r1b and other albanian related lineages.Do you want me to talk from anthropological kind of view?Most of them look like albanians..

albos themselves are some epirote-dacian++ mix..was it just a language shift spread by a dacoalbanian minority ?did they heavily intermixed with nova epirots?how would any of this happen? we still have things to learn.
