Default Why is housing so expensive in Spain?

House prices are rising in almost every country. While the general trend in the rest of the industries is to lower the prices for the goods (food, clothing or technology is becoming cheaper and cheaper every year), the housing market is becoming expensive everywhere. In some countries or cities, owning a house is a whole struggle for anyone making a middle income. Spain is one of the most painful examples. Despite having a much lower income than the Americans, Spaniards must pay way higher prices for their houses. Cities like Barcelona are more expensive than Miami, in Florida, even though the Spanish salaries are half as much as the American ones. Is there any reason why houses are so expensive? Is there any way we can solve this problem? The answer for both questions is yes. In this video, we will tell you more.

^Instead of making stupid statements, it's time to understand the mechanics of the problem.... as well as the economic and demographic outcome. People who can't afford to buy a home, cannot start a family. The corrupt banks, developers and municipalities are killing the future of your country.

Really the stupid statement, by obvious, is saying this: "People who can't afford to buy a home, cannot start a family. The corrupt banks, developers and municipalities are killing the future of your country".

Everybody know the guilty of this situation is the international banking.

That YT channel has an obvious globalist/economically-liberal agenda; I'm not talking just about that video in particular. Spain has an obvious demographic problem that is the crux of many social issues the country is facing these days. The way to fix the housing problem would lead to either draconian measures or the state going full interventionist.
