    Sounds very foreign, my parents are Berber speakers so I hear it often and it doesn't sound at all like it.

    Are you conflating language with writing scripts? Coptic is an Egyptian language regardless what script they use for their language.

    Yeah, it does, rofl. I mean, it doesn't sound very close to Levantine Arabic like the Assyrian Aramaic dialect spoken in the Levant AKA Toryoyo(I think that's how it's spelled?):
