Thank Gawd it didn't. Otherwise another rich cultural tradition would have been stamped out by Judeo-Christianity.

Ask their neighbours:
The development of #Christianity as the predominant faith in #SouthKorea is a story of war, pride, and hope.

Korea isnt doing bad becoming christian, yet its still too secular to have a impact of society in regards to lawmakers.
In Korea abortions become legal this year.
Japan could be badass with a christian population that is not secular, it would give Japan a high birthrate and eliminate the social degeneration.

In my opinion, it would have resembled very closely with the Philippines than to other Asian countries. I would also say that many western cultural aspects like Latin alphabet, Western European architecture and the like would have been more of the norm than anything. My Filipino friend told me that the Filipino language had incorporated numerous Romance and even some Aztec words into the language and so on. And I also believe that Filipinos are very conservatives due to Christianity where they take their Catholic religion very seriously in contrast to the western world where Christianity is pretty weak in people's lives and so on(boomers are often hypocritical of their faith while the younger generations are far more relaxed with their faith which makes most of them either secularists or irreligious, especially in Europe).

Probably not. In Japan and Korea, the local authorities actively prosecuted Christianity and in Korea it became a symbol of resistance. In the Philippines, the culture was imposed from outside and they were even ruled from Mexico and local governance was mostly left to the clergy, backed by some civilian authorities and the Spanish army.

Jesus was born in the Roman Empire, broke with the Jewish religion, the bible was written in Greek and it was a faith accepted by European by vast majority on voluntarily basis.
Its just edgy if degenerated kids larp as pagans after watching the vikings tv show or listen to "music" such as metal.

Yeah. The Japanese and Koreans are pretty much xenophobic against any sort of foreign influences into their respective countries and cultures. The Filipinos don't see anything against the Spanish and Mexican influences on their culture and nation, and instead they welcomed it with open arms and so on. Indonesians for example had converted to Islam in mass due to the Muslim traders from South Asia and even the middle east, especially Yemen. There are millions of Indonesians who have partial or full Arabic ancestry from Yemen and even the Levant as well.
