No, no, no. This was one of my favorite shows as a kid, I can sing that intro in my sleep.

And I can and do occasionally sing this in sober and inebriated states of mind as well.

I give the German version a 4/10, it lacks the energy and the flow of the English version.

Dragon Ball was the most popular cartoon show of my generation. Everyone in here born in the 80's or 90's knows this song by heart.

I love watching anime since I was a toddler, rofl. Of course, back then I watched them in Arabic dub rather than English dub or sub.

Hahah, "gyro" means "around". She says "gyro apo ton planiti" which translates to "around the planet", basically they have turned Son Goku intro some sailor travelling around the world to find them dragonballz. Poetry of Greek sailors (eg Nikos Kavvadias) is similar but instead of dragonballz, they look for aurora borealis, cannabis and prostitutes.
