Am a north african by birth , but a pure Gaul dude , yes my ancestors reached north africa in 1850 , and keep identify themselvs as Gauls , and yes we no more blondy (only first 6 years after birth and kid get dark hair) and we lost blue eyed after 2 generation , because mariage to local woman , but we stay the most crazy , strong and loyal race in EU and a not bastards collected in EU .

I believe there are two versions of who can be considered European, and both are valid:
1. Anybody born and raised in Europe, no matter race, ethnicity, religion.
2. Anybody born of parents of mostly European ethnic background, no matter where they were born in the big world.
My answer are both, since I really don't see it as black and white as many in the comment section.
