Do Spaniards like Italians?

Do Spaniards respect Northern italians more than Southern Italians, or do they respect all italians the same? I think spaniards formed alliances with northern Italians throughout history, but didnt seem to have that same alliance with southern Italians. I think they are both latin meds so they are very similar

"Same alliance", Southern Italy was ruled by Spaniards for some centuries, so they wouldn't have been able to form an alliance with themselves, for sure.

I don't think that Spaniards have this kind of idea of separating strictly "Northern" and "Southern" Italians, this is only anthrotardism, the reality is that the multiple Southern-Northern Italian weddings make all very blurry.

Even in Italy the anti-Southern "thing" is more limitated compared back in time.

Nobody in Spain makes differences between North and South Italians. I mean, 99,99% of Spaniards dont know if there are differences between Italians. Spaniards think all Italians are the same.

In general people here like Italians. It is probably the most liked country along Portugal, or better said, the only liked country along Portugal.

I personally dislike Italians. But I dislike much more British and French.

Speaking about city people I personally prefer the character of southern Italy, In Rome or Milan I found quite arrogant people.

In more rural and less tourist areas people are generally friendly, both in the north and south of Italy.
