Bouzoukia came in Greece more than a hudred of years after ottomans, and they do not represent all of Greek society
Why bouzoukia and not folklore, entehno, kantades etc which are all Greek music but western?
And gyros is heritage of people who came from anatolia, its not part of the Greek tradition

It's all relative. I feel like we're a little bit more western than Germanics and at the same time quite eastern compared to Turks.

What defines western civilization? When I think of Western civilization I think about Renaissance, individuality, individual freedom, freedom of speech, democracy and other stuff. I think Greece mostly embrace these values (Russia also) so in my opinion both Greece and Russia are in that sense part of 'Western' civilization.
