I think it's more of the nature of growing up rich, he has always seen himself above others and entitled. I think he wants to relate and his presidency has matured him a lot and shown the difference between Trump the Entertainers/Businessman and Trump the person. His alter ego is an asshole, annoying, awkward and his personal self isn't a bad guy, he can admit his mistakes, talk to his enemies respectably and likes to do actual good now and then.

I use it often in convos but don't overdo it. It's a very british/american thing. when I talk to non anglos, they just don't understand it and it's the first thing I notice. Daco Celtic is right, it humanizes you and makes you appear genuine, instilling a level of trust. non anglos seem to prefer to brag/gas themselves up instead which I find really weird.

Its interesting, I use it frequently and people around me also, Ive always thought that its kind of an Eastern European thing. I dont know many Americans / Brits personally though

Hes not a bad guy just extremely power & status hungry (like all NW euros) ....... I also think behind closed curtains he's a teddy bear. He just understands the leader of the free world can't show any weakness so he puts up a front (Putin does this too).

Trump is so smart he understands the Israeli lobby dominates and so he submits to their every move. Ivanka even celebrates hannukah now.

Also he is targeting the wrong people. Shaking hands with Saudis who are the real terrori$ts, but he's a businessman.
