I was just thinking of a similar question today. What’s the point of any form of humor tbh? Seems biologically not needed. Except in a cuck situation where you’re trying to entertain people above your station in the hopes of winning them over or entertaining them like a clown.

Assuming you use it in the real world, and still maintain your confidence after, it shows your confidence is deeply rooted and coming from a place of security where even a jab at your ego doesn't shake you. It can be hard to use online, and yeah shoguns just comes off as whiney.

I accepted my flaws a long ass time ago.. your confidence will sky rocket once you do.

Ego is the story narrative of who we think we are as a self. If something challenges that we are usually taken aback and get all defensive/insecure.

Confidence is not bounded by conditions. You could be working at McDonald's and walk around with shit stained pants but still navigate the world freely without a care.

Quite the opposite, usually narcissists and egotistical people get cucked, there is nothing a woman hates more than an overbearing, overly cold man. Humans are primates and primates are social creatures. In nature if you are overly hostile you are going to get torn apart by the troop. Ego is fragile, confidence is strength because it bends and expands.

Yeah, you run the risk of being the jester and people start laughing at you and not with you. But still, laughter is there to lighten the tension and makes life easier. It's like a social lubricant.
