Well, he can pass in Sweden, but probably not as well in the other Scandinavian countries. I've noticed that there are quite a few West Alpine/Subnordid types here unlike in Denmark and Norway. Might have to do with German/Walloon immigration in the past.

I've noticed the same thing on my trips to Sweden. While there has been German immigration to Norway/Denmark as well it may be higher for Sweden. Sweden and Germany kept a much closer bond through history with trade and cultural exchange, so it would make sense. Whereas we dealt more with the Brits.
