Traditional beautiful rich Iranian homes

Near-eastern culture is one of the most beautiful cultures I've ever experienced. Of course it has changed now and many people have becoming more individualistic. Back then, everyone had each others back and had very strong family ties. The culture of Iran has changed drastically and now everything is about either Instagram or being westernized.

The only thing I can't stand is Islam. For the rest.. well the Persians go back a long time and there is more to their civilisation than the contemporary religion. Their impressive architecture and gardens come to mind. Let us not forget that the origin word for our word paradise comes from Persian - a walled garden. pairi-daêza in the old Avestan language.

While Islam has definitely helped our culture and society in enormous ways, I honestly think that Islam as an ideology has really run its course in this world.
