I can see differences, but honestly they look quite alike.

Even in areas like Southern Italy you have plenty of Atlanto-Meds/Berids/Gracile Meds (of course) actually, and sometimes even "Baskids" (there are some in my family for example) so the overlap is quite high. "Dinaro-Meds" and some exotic types that you can find will stand out though.

Italy is literally the "home" of romanticism, Venice, Rome, Florence are romantic cities by excellence.

Average Italian care a lot about appearance and elegance. This is something that you can see with many examples if you go in Italy, it's not for nothing that Italy has literally dozens and dozens of clothes/shoes/handbag prestigious brands. Making beautiful clothes and wearing them is an italian tradition since a long time. This is something that you can see in Caribinieri look if we take a common example.

Hairstyle and clothes play a huge role in attractiveness, and this is something where Italians litterally outcome lot of European countries.

Being "ugly" doesn't make you unattractive, as said there is also the personality to which I add how you dress, your body etc. It's much more complex than having a ugly face, IMO. Without adding socio-economical factors.
Women do not care about any of that Italian romanticism stuff, I used to think they care but they do not. It is only about looks. If they think your face is ugly, or even "average", then that's it, it's over, she doesn't want you. No amount of style or fashion will make up for it, unless you have a considerable amount of money

Of course I am talking about most women, not all. You can find a woman who likes you for the person you are, but it is rare

So, basically, Italians are not physically attractive, but they use a lot of tricks to appear it?

In general italians among Spanish women have the reputation of "pesados", pushy or insistents and vains.

Tampoco todas las mujeres son interesadas, igual es que en España las clases sociales se mezclan más o hay una enorme clase social media con límites poco definidos.

You haven't read my first sentence, that's hopeless. I've said that even if it was the case (which is not) there would be other "factors" that will be important for attractiveness, that's all.

In general italians among Spanish women have the reputation of "pesados", pushy or insistents and vains.
Good stereotypes, I can say also that amongst Italian women, Spaniards have the reputation of Dom Juan and very loudmouth, that's not really different as an argument.

They are seen like that in France also.

I don't agree at all, hairstyle/beard and clothes have a huge influence there, and it's something that is not related to be "ugly" or not.

What I was saying that even if Italians were less "attractive" than Spaniards, there would be that.

Oh, Don Juan, one of the great romantics icons!!! And he was no Italian...and even he was not very romantic...

You cannot imagine how many Spanish medieval legends are similar and previous to Romeo and Julieta. including the original text from Bandello.

We have at least the same than other countries, but we always buyed it worse than others abroad.

I am joking Samnium, don´t take this seriously...not all.

Anyway, the initial question was clear and was about physical appearance. Noy attractiveness in general.

Tomorrow more, I must sleep something.

And yes we are very loudmouths. This stereotype is totally accurate.

    But Italians also, eh?
