Actually Genoese ships contributed to expand it in Europe due to their ships returning from crusades but there were also French and and other European crusaders on those ships.

In any case i was referring to the Italian Wars not Black Death.

Actually.. not from the crusade. They came from Caffa on the Crimea which was under siege by the Mongols. Caffa was a trading city used mainly by Genoese merchants.
