Where do people get these maps? That hotspot for Mediterranean in Ireland is Sligo/Roscommon. People there do not look the least Mediterranean and neither do any area in Ireland or Britain.
These are what people look like from that area.
Why are so many of these maps so patently inaccurate especially for countries like Ireland? It is almost like they make these things up. Genetically those populations are very distant to any Mediterranean population.
Just stupid maps.

Meds are not a majority in Epiros but they aren't super rare neither
Meds or Mediteranean type influences(for example mixed with Alpine) exists among all Greeks
Even Albos and Macedonians have Med type
Epiros is not Central Europe
Cephalic Index increases gradually in Greece as you go from Islands to the Mainland and from Mainland South you go up NorthThe Cephalic Index is very High.
Brachy skull shape is common there

Epirus are an Alpine-med-dinarid admixture, most Greece is Med-Alpine mix.
