Are Askhenazi seen as Hungarians in Hungary?

I think they are not. There's record of Hungarians discriminating Jews, which show Hungarians saw them as a different ethnicity.

There was no recent downfall. Hungary wasn't great or impressive in the past 500 years. Hell, we weren't even an independent country between 1526 and 1920.

Hungary was and is great though in arts, sports, culture, science, folklore in the past 500 years. Success shouldn't only be quantified in economic and political terms, in which indeed we are losers. There is a reverse side for every coin.

Would make distinction between province and big city like Budapest. From what I gather, lot of Budapest Jews are assimilated, mixed with and accepted by urban Hungarians.
But there is almost traditional anti-semitism and mistrust towards Jews among provincial Hungarians, those are my experiences at least.

And how do you know who is jewish or not? Because hungarian jews look like full europeans, they have no different looking so if you don't search every people's family background you cannot discriminate them and most these jews are fully assimilated (many of them don't even know their own jewish roots just look Csanád Szegedi), i didn't mention half jews because i have never seen any half jewish person who declare themselves jewish.
But hungarians don't like gypsies (like you) maybe this is the reason of your ultimate frustration:

Not sue, but many have light hair and eyes, still with a Jewish look. Good example



I think he's half Jewish half Hungarian. Saw many Jews around Big Synagogue who look like him, but not sure are they mixed or not. Mixing is common for sure, but probably there is easy to find many full Jews too.

I don't know natural resources of Hungary, but Finland basically has forests and clean groundwater area. Country has some malms too. And that it is.
Country opposite has no oil resources like Norway (which I call ''rich'' because of it). The country would have never ever developed to this stage if Finns would have simply transported/sold raw materials or even half-finished products. Nope ... country has produced and sold top quality fully finished products. Just like those Finns made many huge cruiser ships all over the world. That way is only way to succeed for small country like Finland. And that? It needs talented motivated people (enough). Linux, Nokia, Valmet, Polar, Supercell (game industry) etc. would never have born without those.

Fought for that ''lack'' (motto: to last man) and paid huge UNFAIR price for it.

and they have tons of natural resources.

And they did it by themselves. Swetting, working hard, organizing things, not being lazy or dreamers, all wanted to work behalf of fatherland and same goals, they wanted to show Swedes (we are equally good if we just get chances), etc.
