That makes more sense to me. It's surely like that in most places around the world. People just focus on making money and living their life, none of these 'big' thoughts

I believe you. Still, when I was in Turkey, people were very friendly and open in general, as I have observed it. In a local store, the shopkeeper offered me a cup of tea and started saying hungarian words I was like ,,Woah!"

Hahaha actually we are quite sincere and warm blooded toward people who have an historical background with us and we tend to consider them as our brothers or at least friends but if we don’t see any sincerity or closeness from them, we just give up and don’t care anymore.
