I have always wondered in how far Turks from Turkey and Turks from the other Turkic countries identify with one another, because I have always felt like that Turks from Turkey are influenced more by the West or maybe Arabs? I'm not so sure. And that the Turks from the other Turkic countries have remained more unmixed, as in, they look more Asian imo where some Turks look more European.
But I am no expert, so if anyone can shine a light on this I'd be happy to hear about it.
