By look they don't look different from other Moldavians, I ould say, some of them look more Slavic than other Moldavians who live in more central and northern parts of the country.

By their genetics, technically they need to look like those Macedonians from the thread about Macedonians from nightclubs opened by JohnnyP, but they look totally different. Knowing the history of that region, is absolutely impossible for people who live in that area to have such results.

Some videos with people from that village:

    Spoiler!
I absolutely see what you mean. I even spotted a few girls with pure Baltid phenotypes, kinda like a younger Mary, who's from northern Russia. Many pure blondes as well. Personally, I absoultely advocate that phenotype and genotype correlate much less than people think, but this is quite an extreme contradiction.

He has the uber-Greek look but average isn't that "uber" since "average" is a mix of types and most overlap with other places easier than he does.

it's not exactly like that. West Asians wouldn't pass easier in southwest Europe than Balkans would, but Greeks pass easier. All Mediterranean looking Balkan people that i have personally seen have strictly southeastern look, but i wouldn't say the same for Greece where an amount of southwest is also common

On the other hand, if by "western Europe" we mean Britain then surely Greeks and Balkan people equally don't pass

    Or these Greek actresses:

Nice nit-picking. Anyone can do the same exact thing for the opposite message, and it's quite rampant. Those Greek actresses are by far not common among Greek people. Plus they're famous actresses, so aesthetics are different from the average person. You know, professional hairdressers and hair dye, nose jobs, face lifts etc. are more than common among Greek actors/ actresses.

The soccer player though, does look like some Greeks (Alpine with pan-Med influences).

    -Cappadokians and Pontians= west Asians

I think you can find all of them in one pic:

More western? Well, maybe more than Southern Balkans and Romanians. But not more western than Croats or Slovenes

most of Greeks scored more Atlantic+north sea than Baltic+East_Euro if I correctly recall, but not overwhelmingly more. So it's marginally more western mixed than Southern Balkans

@anaximander the "average Bulgarian" in the op is not really average Bulgarian, I visit Bulgaria more than twice per year
Absolutely none of them look Greek. The ginger at the top is not atypical among Greeks, it's completely absent for a full Greek. The third girl to the right looks mixed with African American. I'm going to use a photo search app find the origins on this photo, because I wouldn't be surprised if this is a some Greek American celebration or game of some sort. If so, then there's a huge chance that they are half Greek or invited by a Greek friend. The only somewhat Greek looking one is at the bottom right.
