If we only count european inmigrants or regions heavily populated by european inmigrants, then Argentina is more italian than Uruguay, but if we count 100% of argentinean population with 100% of uruguayan population, then Uruguay is more italian than Argentina. Italian contribution in Uruguay is around 30-40%, while in Argentina is around 20-25% because Argentina have many more hispanic mestizos with very low italian contribution, and these mestizos are millions in Argentina.
