How do Greece's neighbours deal with Greece being much richer?

Despite Greece's economic crisis, it remains to be a richer country than Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia or anywhere in the Balkans + Turkey. How do the Greeks view their northern neighbours and vice-versa? Is Greece paradise for them?

Thousands of Balkan immigrants in Greece - they are better than Arab, Pakistanis, Africans and other third worlders. Although they are like little babies that need to have their hand held and showed the path to civilization.

Yes Greece is a richer country. And? It's obvious by the resources you have.

Catgeorge. Richest Greek in the world: Jim Davis at 5.1 Billion. Richest Macedonian: Mike Ilitch (passed away so now goes to his wife) at 6.1 Billion.

Portugal is a poor agrarian country, Romania has bigger industry.

Brazil is not much richer than Colombia.

They don't "deal with it" in any specific way, it is what it is. Greece is richer and more civilized because of tourism (beautiful islands, beaches, ancient ruins, etc.) sea access for better trade & commerce, and their help from Western Europe ever since the Greek Revolution all the way to the Cold War and so on. Other Balkan countries didn't have it as lucky as Greece unfortunately.

Well, we happen to be in a geostrategic focal point. We have developed merchant shipping quite a lot, which has helped with our trade and our industrial activity. We never went through Communism. We always pushed for policies that were liberal fiscally.
