Was the Iron Curtain bad in your opinion?

It delayed the process of Pan-European integration as well as the creation and expansion eastwards of the European Union, the existence of which you oppose (if I remember correctly).

The Iron Curtain was repressive and cynical. I have said I support the EU, but for technical and practical reasons, not for romantic or ethnocentric mumbo jumbo reasons.

Eastern Europe is not "so poor" for global standards.

Western Europe is the "rich outlier" compared to the rest of the world. And it has nothing to do with the Iron Curtain but rather they benefited from colonialism from the 1500s onwards (and Eastern Europeans could not participate in that due to lack of access to the Atlantic Ocean).

The West-East divide in Europe dates back to the 1600s-1700s not to the Cold War.

Even before 1965, the African-American population was always in double figures percentage-wise, Mexicans were already present in the Southwest (not least because those states were originally Mexican anyway), the Whites themselves were from a variety of national and ethnic origins. This notion that the US was once upon a time a 'Germanic-Aryan paradise' is such guff.

That is true to a certain extent, but what explains the wealth of contemporary Scandinavia? After all, they didn't have colonies either. While Europe's West-East gap well preceeds the Iron Curtain, it cannot be denied that it did make it more pronounced.

Jared opposes Slavery and calls it a hughe mistake, since thats the reason you have the African population in the USA. He points out the simple fact that the US becomes worse and worse with a lowering White/European population. I think his mindset and views on race relations in the united states will be shared more and more by white Americans as they become a minority. I never saw anyone that could dismantle Jared in a debate.
