    Because a) I dont find it boring b) want to know my mtDNA c) I already kind of know my YDNA, although not the exact clade

    It's not my fault they say so. Go to Reddit and see those NPCs who are disappointed at getting 90+ percent NW Euro.

    Can you open your ancestry raw data and search for 15779361?

    Morley gave me directly Q-L54. There were three subclades of it, one was Scandinavian, one was Amerindian and the other(L330) was Turkic. It was not much hard for me to predict that I'm actually in L330, but couldn't believe if Morley was accurate or not.

    Then I bought Y-12 and it gave me Q-M242. Basically only shows me that I'm Q. Nothing else. In this step I could go directly with L330 SNP, but I wanted to be sure that I'm L54. And go with Backbone:

    I was really L54, and then bought L330. It was also positive. At the end of the day I spent around 150$ for something which I already know.

    Then, the bad thing, after some time I bought 23andMe. And guess what it gave me:

    Morley is a good guy, trust him
    qpAdm: Bulgarian_1.DG= 77 - Kimak.SG= 23, p= 0.36, se= 0.31.
    Y: Q-L330 > Q-YP771 > Q-BZ180 > Q-F16045* (F15008*) --> Baikal N, Altai MLBA, Aldy-Bel, Pazyryk, Hun.
    MT: K1a --> Iron Gates, Starcevo, Bulgaria N, Bulgaria CA, Bulgaria BA.

    My mtdna is from Germany and it's super interesting, found in ancient Viking burials, Bavarian Beakers, Corded Ware from Saxony-Anhalt and even mixed medieval Hungarian-Avar graveyard in northern Croatia.
    I also found out some of most famous medieval Knights Cavalier De Bayard carried same mtdna subclade like me.

    Kyp can find such interesting story about his mtdna too. In contrast, my father's ydna is much more boring.

    Download DNA Kit Studio and plug in your raw data into mtdna predictor. It will give you basic subclade (H or U for example). I tested it and it's accurate.
    example with Stears data (confirmed U5 on 23andme) - this one even found his deeper subclade
