Well unfortunately, this kind of thing is taboo to study nowadays, as we can see from the whole James Watson situation.

It is something like 60% genetic and 40% environment according to studies.

Exactly. We need to have a recent good study that used good data metric and a good sample size to know that. I mean, the recent study by Lyn puts Egyptians around 76, a 6 decline IQ level from their usual 82. We need to see how much socio-econimic, education and genetics plays a role in the society's IQ level.

Yes, this is what I thought as well. But Turkmenistan for example is simply too low for it to be this I think. Literally only 4 publications... The mighty nation of GREENLAND, with its massive urban populace of 50,000 people, produced 26 publications... I know Turkic types aren't very good in academics but 4.. c'mon man

Not sure what an H-Citation is, assuming you mean H-index then yes, Turkey is better because H-index is based off of nobel prize winnings and positions in high ranking universities, which obviously Turkey will be higher cuz of shit education budget in Iran... although Iran had more articles published in 2016 than all Turkey and the Turkic nations combined (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...urnal_articles) with a 20% growth rate while Turkey had 7%, so Iran will likely have double the amount of publications than all of them combined by 2025, I think. Although not sure why you are bringing Turkey into this, when I clearly stated Turkic nations in the comment you quoted (genetically speaking)

I mean, even North Korea has at least 44 publications lol... although I suspect most are from before the war, there are at least 5 from Kim Il Sung University in Physical Science and Chemistry https://www.natureindex.com/country-outputs/north-korea

You mean like Ghana, who despite having a similar GDP per capita (~1,500 USD) to Uzbekistan, produced almost 3x the scientific publications (982 vs 357) while having less population (25mil vs 30mil)?
