Yep. The toilet paper situation has taken up a lot of discussion. They've even asked psychologists about it. It's all to do with trying to regain some control over the situation.

Keep in mind, there are wet wipes, bidets that attach to toilets, paper towels/napkins. Japanese toilets would be good right now.
