My general rate of Hungarians' similarity to other nations:
1) Southern/middle areas of Central Europe - Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia
2) Northern areas of Central Europe like Germany and Poland, on one hand, and Balkan countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, etc.)
3) Western countries like France and Switzerland
4) Northwestern Germanics (Dutch and Scandos), on one hand, and Ukrainians/Moldovans, on the other
5) Russians and Belarusians
6) Southwestern Europeans (Portuguese and Spaniards) and Brits/Irish; probably Greeks would be near this range, too
7) Estonians
8) Italians, on one hand, and Lithuanians, on the other
9) Latvians
10) Finns and Turks as rather equidistant, I guess
11) Georgians
12) Armenians
Albanian distance to Hungary is probably in group 7 or 8.

Best fit probably southern Poland or Slovakia followed by Slovenia and Austria, worst fit probably the UK, our or rather their long heads would look out of place in Hungary.

Depends on Hungarians:
- those from Transylvania look almost identical to Romanians (but with a visible Magyar element in many)
- those from Pannonian plains look in between ethnicities nearby but roughly in between Slovaks and Serbs
