A very humanitarian feeling, but an Israeli media maybe is not the most objective source to inform about this issue.

I am not sure how opressed are Kurds actually. I am thinking in how opressed say some Catalans and Basques they feel here in Spain, and I always doubt that if others that say the same are actually opressed or if it´s only something they say always to win sympathy abroad.

I cannot ajudge this particular case of Kurds.

Assad said they wont be independent and for their cooperation with the United states and other players in the conflict that violate Syrias national sovereignty, he sees no point of any further agreements.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad called on the Kurdish groups cooperating with the US troops in Syria to stand against the occupation, in an interview with 'Russia 24 TV,' in Damascus, Thursday.

The Syrian president said that the government is maintaining "contact with the Kurdish political groups" in northern Syria, and considered the issue to be "small groups acting with the Americans."
