    Default Are French culturally closer to other Romance people or to Germans?

    They are a mix or Romance and Germanic influence, but I think they are closer to Italians and Spaniards than to Germans. For example this guy who lives in France but visited Berlin says traffic in Paris is a total emss compared to Germany:
