Which is more southern shifted Macedonians or Croatians?

Macedonians are far from being particuliarly "Southern shifted" but they are close to Romanians, Bulgarians and Serbians also, they are Balkanites genetically.

They are most southern Slavs genetically, there are certain regions where they plot very close to Ghegs and Macedonian Greeks. Bulgarians and Romanians are more diverse genetically, Serbs are closer to Bosniaks than to Macedonians as a whole.

I don't like using sports team to argue about that, but yeah if you see the Croatian football team you would guess that.

Well I was refering to Southern Italians, Greeks, Central Italians and Albanians, that are certainly more "southern" than Macedonians. Otherwise yes they are the most southern "Slavs" genetically.

Otherwise I agree, even if average Serbs sit like in between Bosniaks/Croats and Romanians, Bulgarians etc.

And I agree also for Romania and Bulgaria being diverse genetically, there are definitely differences, mostly on a South/North basis (logical).

Bulgaria has more of west/east division, though this division can be partially explained that many Bulgarians from eastern part (Varna, Burgas) come from Aegean Macedonia and Southern Thrace.
