Default Why do slavs speak through one side of their mouth?

When they speak I notice them contort their face in a way that it looks like they're speaking from one side of it. Is it a tradition

Here are both Russian and Ukrainian in the same song.
Couplet - Russian, refrain - Ukrainian.
