Default Colombians or Venezuelans, who's whiter?

    Doubt.
In my expectation: Colombians are lighter and have more European input on average phenotype, but Venezuelans are genetically more European and their fully European minority is larger than Colombia.

Venezuela has received more recent Spanish inmigration, specially during and after the Spanish civil war but I dont know exactly proportion of "whiteness" of every country.

We have some members who knows better this issue than me.

    Genetically: about the same.
Phenotypically: Venezuela has more pure/quasi-pure Whites due to the large post-War migrations of Spaniards, Italians, Portuguese and Germans, but at the same time they also have more triracials and fewer Caucasoid-leaning Mestizos than does Colombia.

How long is a piece of string? No more than a fifth in either case.

Almost all Hispanic countries are racially the same I honestly don't think there's a big difference between Mexico Colombia Venezuela Chile Costa Rica and Honduras and Dominican republic only around 5-15% of white ancestry varies.

    Its complex

Colombia is a nation that has some white colonials and castizos, I believe both together could be 25% of the colombian population and thats the number of people that pass at least in Turkey.

Venezuela has a much more chaotic, unstable and complex story. They have some castizos and white colonials in their Andes, but in the rest of the country its not even close to what Colombia had of colonials even comparing Caribean Venezuela with Caribean Colombia. Thats because the main bulk of white venezuelans are recent immigrants post 1929 and not colonials. I believe Venezuela had more over 80% euro people than Colombia and much more 90% euro people since the high middle class of Caracas was totally descendant of recent spaniards, portugueses and italians with their european grandparents even alive. But then, the APOCALIPSE happened there and thats totally changed the situation again, the mass exodus of Venezuela started with whites from upper classes, but now it includes all types of Venezuelans, in few years more than 6 milion venezuelans will be outside their country. Now when I see venezuelan crowds, the number of whites is heavily reduced and Colombia seems to have more even when most of them are castizos.

You cannot be serious. The difference between Uruguay and somewhere like Bolivia or the DR is enormous. Heck, the difference even between Colombia and Uruguay OR Bolivia or the DR is enormous.

My guess would be that Venezuela has a larger population who is white or pred. European phenotipically and that Colombians in average are slightly lighter than Venezuelans.

Colombians are less SSA on average and lighter on average, too. Venezuela might have or might have had (a lot of them fled when mi comandante Chiabeh rose to power) more people who are fully European as a result of recent migration from Europe, but Venezuelans on average are more mixed, especially those of colonial stock.

All in all, I find my fellow Colombians to be lighter on average.
