All in all, I find my fellow Colombians to be lighter on average.
Actually, I think you'll find that genetically there isn't much difference between the two nations re SSA, only that in Colombia there are more pure/quasi-pure Blacks, whereas in Venezuela SSA admixture is more spread out among the whole population, thus leaving fewer 'plain Mestizos' than in Colombia.

Take into account that in many countries only some people can afford or be interested in doing test for ethnic estimations, soif those kits are mainly from private persons and not for any academic survey will not be very representatives of each society.

I think that by population of Colombia, and by percentage of Venezuela, a friend of mine said that in Venezuela they were Europeans from almost everywhere, so I suppose that Venezuela will have more variety of white genes.

Hoy en día Colombia debido al éxodo venezolano.

Antaño Venezuela, debido a los inmigrantes de mediados del siglo XX, o se es blanco o no se es.

Here we refer to studies made on public hospitals or so by universities and published on a paper, so are representative.

DR is more comparable to Panamá or Cuba. Bolivia is way too amerindian and not as genetically caucasoid. He has a point too.
