    I have found Austrians significantly lighter than I previously thought. Hungarians also, but Hungarians aren't comparable to Austrians especially in hair color. I think we are originally lighter than Hungarians but have become darker with intermixing with former Yugoslavs to the point Hungarians now are about equal to Slovenes if not possibly even lighter as Hungary hasn't had nearly as much immigration.

    the factors behind it are a. small country and b. nature-affinity. Austrians from Tyrol/Salzbug care on average more about nature than Austrians from Burgenland and Lower Austria, just because their landscape is way more beautiful.
    Also i m not so sure if Norway should be considered eco- friendly as their main economical sources are far from it.
