Gligorov made a pure political statement miscalculating the moment thinking that it will appease the Greeks.
He shouldn't say that for many reasons and they are:
First reason is that he cannot speak for me likewise the others this goes beyond his constitutional duties.
Second reason is that he cut off our heritage and genetic material related to the native population (mine is more than half local).
Third reason is that he made tremendous damage to the Macedonian negotiating position.
Fourth reason is that we are going to hear the Greek echo for many years to come.
