The Netherlands is slightly more Germanic than Denmark or any Scandinavian population . Yes there is a genetical split between the north and south, but is still the most Germanic population. The Danish are more homogeneous, but a slight Polish admixture is found in their population, you didn’t know that one, did you?

I would say that Scandinavians are the closest modern populations. However, there was no single Germanic ethnicity, Germanics varied according to the place of origin as evidenced by the PCA.

Blond hair is not restricted to Germanic people only! There are Balts, Celts, Slavs who are pretty blond too.
