Being more conscientious?
Working harder (get more done in 1h)?

More seriously my father has told me few funny thing then Japanese customes have come to Sweden (making audits) and they have discussed about quality control systems.

I'm not just talking about their diasporas though. The point is that Christianity, along with the English and French languages, dominate African countries much more than they do most Asian countries, bar some exceptions like the Philippines. The Japanese may be wealthier and better-educated than the likes of the Gabonese, but spiritually, philosophically and linguistically I'd argue they're a lot more removed from Europe than the latter are.
