In your country, which foreigners are not really seen as foreigners as such?

I probably already posted in this thread but I can't be bothered to go through it again. Traditionally in America protestant NorthWestern Europeans were or are not considered foreigners especially if raised in America so that goes for protestant Dutch, English, Scots-Irish, Scottish , Welsh , Norwegians , Danes etc...

Whatever the past America as a country is great to Ireland now. They are really looking out for Ireland with Brexit and making sure the Brits stick to the Good Friday Agreement about the border.

Well said. The Nordic gave us much after WW, our society has been built on Nordic template, but today in EU there are moo many moving pieces. Brussel, east-west and north-south axes, immigration, globalisation/climate change, so called EU joint liability, internet brainwashing etc. Too many devils in the Nordic paradise, it has to change too.

I would say Latin Americans of mostly European descent and Portuguese are not really seen as foreigners (at least not in the same way Germans or Brits are, for example), maybe French and Italians as well but the feeling towards them is a bit more....distant?
