Very funny but in linguistics terms it doesn't work because of orthography and spelling rules that makes certain letter combinations that used to represent different sounds now make similar sounds to simple letters only in specific parts of a word, like the end or middle or only surrounded by certain other letters, like how i doesn’t usually get pronounced as it’s namesake unless it’s the pronoun or has a consonant and then an e, which in itself used to be pronounced but umlauted the previous vowel, and then dropped off phonetically, isn’t linguistics fun!
