Except for a few objectively identifiable brain diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease, there are neither biological or chemical tests nor biopsy or necropsy findings for verifying or falsifying mental illness diagnoses. Something that non-falsfiable like the concept of 'mental illness' ipso facto is not a scientific concept and does not exist.

Mental health is real. Schizophrenia bipolor disorders autism spectrum and borderline personality all cause minor changes in Brain shape and aren't some construct of the media, furthermore while not as obvious sociopathy and psychopathy are believed to be strongly tied to genetics and most of these disorders are slightly correlated with estrogen not including sociopathy and psychopathy. Autists and boderlines tend to be intelligent but one can't tie his shoes and panics at the thought of social contact and the other has severe mood swings and is likely to have a mental breakdown in the most literal terms if his girlfriend dumps him.
