We should be. I didn't believe in 5G conspiracy, but went to Public beach with family this summer and there was new 5G antenna nearby, entire sea was full of dead insects like bees. Frightening and obviously harmful for living beings. I never saw anything like it ever before.

Engineers and non-medical scientists will say that it is not harmful, and rightfully so. Some doctors and medical scientists will say that it is harmful. It is called microwave syndrome, electromagnetic hypersensitivity etc, but nothing conclusive.

You already are followed without the 5G stuff. Your phone provider already knows your location and generally they have contracts with governmental agencies, too. As for triangulation, I don't think it works very well with phones. You probably give up an approximate location (the last BTS to which you have been connected) but that would be it. The extreme case would be a single antenna for a small and packed city, positioned on a skyscraper for example, or a single antenna for multiple small towns in the country side which would be of no use to the CIA and the like.

But I agree, very probably, locating precisely your phone would be much easier in the future with the help of the 5G network, depending on what it contains, how packed it is, etc.

Also, note that some providers still may switch to 2G even if 4G is available for the purposes of lowering costs. That of course comes with its security "risks". Or "opportunities" depending on which side you stand.

Those should be emitting X rays or gamma rays lulz. Jokes aside, to use any frequencies higher than the visible light (300THz) should be considered a crime.
