they were talking about south america in general. even in Bolivia half of the population is mixed. only villagers are mostly native. but who promotes villagers as a beauty ideal? no one
if you google beautiful blovian women, u'll see that most of them are mixed. very few look predominantly european. they don't seem to be ashamed of their amerindian traits

i don't understand why you cannot be a model in bolivia if you look like the OP girl. she looks mixed too. even if she was a blond..what's the problem? she's not bolivian or what? all models should look the same? or otherwise they're promoted only because they're wannabe europeans? what about the black women who win miss contests in europe? like miss finland? how do we call that then? africans trying to impose their beauty standard on europeans?

Bolivia is the exception of the rule.
62% of the population are native/practically native and It's the country with less iberian contribution.
It's not a mestizo country like México for example.
Only Santa Cruz de la Sierra is around 40 Euro, and most misses come from there.
Another point is that in Santa Cruz people are not mixed with andean amerindians but others called chiriguanos and ayoreos who are more related with people from Paraguay and central/western Brazil so traits are extremely different.
Even Perú is more Euro.
But in a way I agree with you, despite I find extremely attractive many native girls.... they should choose who they find better looking in the castings...
