looks like Majority proto-Indo-European was copied from many substrates like finno-ugric celtominar anatolian ancient-european etc... where multiple conquered tribes and mixed tribes started speaking one of the dialects after climate change during 2nd millenium. It is akin to modern American melting pot where everyone adopted English as the language and Angol-Saxon protestant as the core culture
