I watched a doku about that. But the german state tv most times exaggerates and adds sometimes wrong information. Maybe it happens in some rural places, but i dont think that kirgiz are backwarded. We turks admire how these people handle with womens.

I watched a video of Vice channel about Kazakhstan. And the journalist was portraying it as if he was followed by Kazakh police. While in reality nobody here cares about foreign journalists.

The journalist looks back and says: the police is following us. Then the camera shows a road behind their car to prove that the police is following them but we don't see anything. And there is dangerous music as if something bad is happening.

Kirgizistan and kazakistan have the same culture, with that logic the gulf states would be the best place were womens can live. There are problems with women but definitely not that kind which many europeans imagine.

IDK what you're on about. Kuwait and UAE are perfectly fine for women despite having the same culture as other Arab MENA countries where they have no rights. Your example is literally the same thing as what I said

Yes the same thing about turkey. But the funny fact is that mist people who distrust media are believing that shit of countries which they want to see all that negative things.

No, I really don't think it is the same. Kazakhstan is the most developed and successful of the post-soviet countries. Compare the GDP per capita of Kazakhstan (nearly 10,000 USD) to that of Kyrgyzstan which is only 1200 USD. That is nearly 10x more. The urban population of Kazakhstan is around 65%. That of Kyrgyzstan is 35%. Just because you are both from similar backgrounds does not make it the same, Kazakhstan is a first world country while Kyrgyzstan is a backwater rump state. You simply can't compare it

Infrastructure and how life is build is similar in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Actually Kyrgyzstan is considered as more democratic state than Kazakhstan by international Freedom organizations. The difference in GDP is simply because Kazakhstan has oil reserves but life is more or less similar.

I'm pretty sure that Western media can find cases of bride kidnapping in the Northern Caucasus if they want to.

It is not just GDP, its GDP PER CAPITA. Wealth per person. And Democracy does not have to do with it, the Kyrgyz population are rural, poor, and thus do things like bride kidnapping/rape which they don't do in Kazakhstan because they have a working nation.
