Different things matter in Balkans. Functional education is recent thing so it does not show.

Not necessarily. China and Vietname do well despite being poor/mediocre wealth countries.

Asian countries are in a wholly different league, you can see that some of them surpass Western European countries. I was talking about Europe.

On an IQ scale, Finland's average PISA score in 2018 in math, science, and reading would be 104.5 for girls (100+(((510+534+546)/3-500)/100)*15) and 100.35 for boys (100+(((504+510+495)/3-500)/100)*15).

Absolutely pointless study/benchmark of the educational level, as our learning programmes are different yet this PISA test attempts to measure our proficiency by using a standardized test that favours the western programme.

Because I'm a student myself here in Greece, students here don't even care about the test. They literally just give it for the lulz. Not even prepared by official education.

Plus, I've seen on what they're tested. It's literally 4 grades behind from what students are taught in the 10th grade, when students globally give PISA.

Well... very high anyway .... and that 52 in reading alone might still be the highest?

My first thought was the we were so so, within the average. But apparently our results got worse that year comparing with the three years before:

Finland was weaker in mathematics (507) than in science (522) or reading (520). In the table below, even though we rank 8th in mathematics, we still rank second after Estonia based on our average score. Estonians have become so smart that there's not even any Estonians left on this forum for morons (just like there are no East Asians).

Switzerland is the highest-ranking country in the map posted by the OP, but Switzerland's general score in mathematics (515 / 102.2) was 21 points lower than its "natives only" score (536 / 105.4).

People often assume that the average IQ of whites would be 100. However national IQ scores are often normed against the IQ of the United Kingdom, which is generally higher than the average IQ of most European countries. Therefore even if the IQ of East Asians would be the closest to 105 when rounded to the nearest integer multiple of 5, the IQ gap between whites and East Asians can still be closer to 10 than to 5.

China is the only country whose PISA results are only based on the results of more highly developed regions. Still, China's average PISA score in mathematics, science, and reading (converted to IQ points) was only 102.2 in 2015, but it was 111.8 in 2018, which is almost 10 points higher, so China's PISA results in 2018 are clearly bogus.

If we regardless don't exclude China, in the table below, the average score of East Asian countries and regions is 105.7, which is about 10 points higher than the average score of European countries in the table above (95.7).

(average score;math;science;reading;difference from average score in 2015;country or region)

Psychology is a pseudo-science and IQ is part of that pseudo-science. In future brain scans (fMRI) combined with computer algorithms will determine intelligence. Also, feminism, in the West, took highly intelligent women out of the educational system -- in the past highly intelligent women became teachers because their only other work option was nurse. The solution is not to go back to the old days before feminism but the solution is marxism or scientific socialism. Anyway, that feminism removed highly intelligent teachers is another reason you can't use PISA scores as a means of measuring the intelligence of a population.
