Traveling to Russia

Hello everyone! I want to realize my next trip, which would be Russia. I don't know if it's possible to do it this year or not, but now I'm thinking about going there during october-november. I have many questions and I would like to get help from Russian members here, or from other people who have been in Russia before, as a tourist. I am asking the questions here because the administration at the Russian Embassy in Hungary is currently suspended due to the coronavirus.

So, first things first: I would go there with 1 or 2 people (friends). We are hungarian citizens. My question is: are we eligible to obtain a tourist e-visa and can we travel in the country between other oblasts?

-We would spend at least a week there, but 2 weeks would be the best
-We would sleep in some hostel (pre-booked)
-The places we would like to visit is mainly Saint-Petersburg, Moscow and maybe Kazan (Tatarstan)
-We would go there (back and forth) by plane, but we would travel between cities by bus and train if it's possible

So what is your recommendation, because I've heard that maybe we can't even visit Moscow as tourists, only Saint-Petersburg?

I see. Normally, Moscow is open for tourists.

It's hard to guess what will be in 6 months.
